Cheers, a home grown 24-hour convenience store, caters to a diverse group of customers from different walks of life including the young and trendy, students and working professionals who lead active and busy lifestyles. Officially launched in 1998, Cheers has since expanded to over 120 outlets situated across Singapore at convenient locations. An advocate of sports in Singapore as well, Cheers has supported various sporting initiatives such as the Cheers Badminton Series and the Cheers Zero Limits Expedition 2006. It also took the lead in rallying support from the community for Singapore's bid to host the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. In August 2010, Cheers supported our young athletes in their quest for excellence at the Youth Olympic Games.

1-1) Retail Assistant (Full & Part Time)

Responsibilities:

Merchandising, customer service, cashiering, housekeeping and other assigned duties.

Requirements:

1. At least a secondary education required

2. Physically fit and healthy

3. Able to work 6 days a week, 3 rotating shifts (full-timers)

4. Also willing to work on public holidays and weekends

1-2) Retail Assistant (4D)

Responsibilities:

Cashiering at 4D counter, providing customer service, occasionally assist in housekeeping and merchandising in the store.

Requirements:

1. Must possess at least a Primary / Secondary / 'O' Level.

2. Must be prepared to work 6 days a week, 2 rotating shifts and on PH / weekends.

3. Must be able to speak and write simple English to communicate with customers.

2) Shift Leader

Responsibilities:

Supervising of staff, cashiering, merchandising, customer service, housekeeping, etc.

Assisting Store Manager in the day to day operations of retail convenience outlet.

Company's Standing instructions, Policies and Procedures are to be followed.

Store front are always kept neat, clean and stocking of shelves should be done during off-peak whenever possible.

Requirements:

1. Must possess at least a Primary / Secondary / 'O' Level.

2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.

3. Must be prepared to work 6 days a week, 3 rotating shifts and on PH / weekends.

3) Team Leader

Responsibilities:

You will assist the store manager in the day-to-day operations of a retail outlet:

1. Achieve the stores sales and service level targets

2. Supervise the staff in the store.

3. Assist in some of the paperwork

4. Order stocks and do merchandising

5. Customer service and cashiering

6. Housekeeping and other duties 

Requirements:

1. At least a secondary education required

2. Physically fit and healthy

3. Able to work 6 days a week, 3 rotating shifts

(full-timers)

4. Also willing to work on public holidays and weekends

4) Assistant Store Manager

Job scope:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a retail outlet such as:

1. Achieving the sales targets with profits

2. Adhering to the customer service standards

3. Motivating, training and managing your staff

4. Merchandising, replenishment, housekeeping and cashiering

5. Documentation and other relevant work

Requirements:

1. Possess leadership, analytical and entrepreneurial qualities

2. Must possess a diploma certificate

3. Experienced candidates with proven track record in a retail/ service environment will also be considered

4. Willing to work on public holidays and weekends
